Poppies Floral Art is offering workshops in floral design. We will inspire you to create amazing flower arrangements.

Fall/Winter Workshops 2025

Our fall/winter workshop series is now in the works!! Click on the links to order online. 

Saturday October 18  --- 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm--- Autumn Parallel- 

Seasonal design in beautiful autumn colours. You will learn a design style that focuses on linear, parallel placement of flowers and other materials to create a garden-inspired display.

Saturday October 25 --- 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm--- Dark and moody- 

With Halloween around the corner we will create a gothic inspired arrangement with deep moody colours like dark purple, red, burgundy and black. 

Saturday November 1 --- 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm--- Hand-tied bouquet- 

Learn the spiral technique to create a perfect hand-tied bouquet. 

Saturday November 15 --- 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm--- Modern asymmetrical

The most popular style this past year for centrepieces, this asymmetrical garden design style is a popular look for weddings.

Saturday November 22 --- 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm--- Winter arrangement

We will create a dramatic, tall, front facing seasonal design with branches and evergreens. The colours will be white and natural elements. 

Wednesday November 26  --- 6:00pm- 8:00 pm--- Evergreen wreath

It's time to start decorating for Christmas! Step one- a lush evergreen wreath on the door. We will build these from scratch, so the class is 2 hours. WEDNESDAY evening

Wednesday December 3---6:00- 7:30 pm--- Seasonal Centrepiece

Beautiful, full, lasting centrepiece with all the seasonal evergreens. Cedar, fir, pine and more. Then we'll add lasting elements like baubles, cones, berries and a candle. WEDNESDAY evening

The cost of the workshops with all materials and containers is $65 plus taxes. You have the option of returning the containers for an in-store credit.

OFF-SITE private workshops; 

$195 private workshop fee (4 hours for two people to load, set up, provide instruction, clean up) plus $65 per person up to 20 participants. For larger groups please contact Poppies to discuss. Client is to provide the venue, and the tables. We provide the tools, and all materials.
